Considered use in the detailing of key elements has provided a distinctive building form for this light industrial facility on the edge of Christchurch. By shaping and detailing the rainwater system to accentuate the extended eaves, then cutting away the two outer corners of the building, to form overlooking balconies, deep shadows are formed and then contrasted with bold use of colour.
